Of course, being an Amazfit device, you can select as many sports as possible for its latest fitness smart watch to track. While much of that is pretty standard fare with Amazfit products, there is one software feature that makes this watch a standout.

With new sports watches, Zepp Health and the Amazfit brand are specifically targeting hardcore runners. The premium Amazfit offerings incorporate a refined version of the Zepp OS, along with basic health-tracking features. The GTS 4 and the Amazfit GTR 4 both run on Zepp OS 2.0, and they feature the usual suite of health and fitness features, including heart-rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and blood-oxygen-level measurements.

New Smart Watch Features

The numerous health and fitness-related features include heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, blood oxygen level measurement, menstrual cycle tracking, and more. Amazfit has also added support for Bluetooth phone calls to both new smart watches. On the health and fitness monitoring front, the new flagship smart watches incorporate Amazfit is new optical BioTracker 4.0 sensor array, which the company boasts gathers 33% more data than the previous one. The companys GTR 4 (round-shaped model) and GTS 4 (square-shaped) both sport what Amazfit calls BioTracker 4.0 optical sensors, offering improved HR tracking compared to its predecessor, and an updated GPS means better pathfinding, too.

The Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4 will feature a brand-new tracking system, BioTracker 4.0 optical PPG biometric sensor. Its two brand-new flagship smart watches will be the first Amazfit smartwatches to support synchronization of sports and fitness data with adidas run app through Zepp app following upcoming updates, thanks to a new strategic partnership between Amazfit and adidas Runtastic. GTR 4 has 475mAh of battery capacity, with a maximum of 14 days battery life, and GTS 4 has 300mAh battery, which has an estimated battery life of up to 8 days. As far as battery life goes, you are looking at around two weeks with the GTR 4 while a week with the GTS 4. The GTS 4 gets 300mAh, which should get the GTS 4 through around one week.

GTR 4 has a 475mAh battery size, whereas GTS 4 has the smaller 300mAh battery.
